SIAF2020 Matrix
Due the pandemic in 2020, the SapporoInternational Art Festival (SIAF) was heldonline. For the occasion, we explored ways ofconveying the original spatial context of theexhibition. Using natural languageprocessing techniques, the descriptions ofthe artworks were analyzed and used to infer amapping of similarity behind the differentprojects. After choosing among several keyconcepts, visitors are presented with avirtual walk through this map, as if it were anactual gallery space.
